Medicaid Drug Use Review Board Seeks to Fulfill Physician Board Position

North Dakota’s Medicaid Drug Use Review Board (DUR) is seeking to fulfill a physician board position.
PURPOSE
The DUR board's functions include serving as an advisory board for Medicaid drug use policies, identifying and developing educational topics for practitioners to improve drug therapy, and assisting the department in identifying patterns of fraud, abuse, gross overuse, or inappropriate or medically unnecessary care.
BOARD COMMITMENT
Appointed members of the DUR Board include six physicians, six pharmacists, two members representing the pharmaceutical industry, and one member representing consumer interests. Board member positions consist of a three-year term.
Board meeting attendance can be in person or virtual, whatever fits the board member’s needs best.
The board meets at least quarterly and typically requires a 3-hour time commitment for each meeting.

Dec. 7 - 1 to 4 p.m. CT
